  • Your opportunity to earn the Segal Education Award

  • How you can fill an immense need in your community

  • Providing paid training in the classroom

  • A way to gain experience and in the Healthcare field

KY HealthCorps is..

There are many service options available, allowing members to find the best fit for their current schedule and career goals.

Positions range anywhere from CNA, and Dietary Aid, to AIT, Activities, & Social Services with so many others in between.

There is room in the program for anyone interested in becoming a healthcare professional. Members will gain valuable training, on-the-job experience, and career coaching so that when they complete their service they are ready to take their next best step toward their career goals.

KY HealthCorps is a program designed to build up the next generation of healthcare providers.

Family School House’s goal is to end the cycle of poverty and transform our community by empowering families and youth to succeed in education and achieve life-long self-sufficiency.

Members will complete their service hours in non-profit long-term care facilities and hospitals across the state. Members will gain specific experience in the role they choose while interacting with vulnerable populations.

Partners

Our hope is this program breaks down barriers and creates a clear path to success for our members. It’s important to us that members thrive long after their service in the program is finished. We plan to raise a generation of confident healthcare professionals and community leaders who will fill a great need across the state. We can’t wait to look back next year and see the impact!

KY HealthCorps is proud to partner with high schools, colleges, and universities across the state.

If you are a school interested in offering your students paid class time and internship or practicum experience, please reach out to KYHealthCorps@FamilyScholarHouse.org
